Please, lolita is not fashion, if you don’t define “fashion” as “mainstream clothing”. Also, you don’t have style if you dress lolita – you usually have low self confidence, run away from your own individual power, and dress down to an even more vulnerable character than your real self.
i love the insouciance and the fantasy element of the goth lolita fashion and subculture. these kids are having a little fun and theatre in their lives. that’s cool to me. you either get it or you don’t, i suppose. i’m happy to get it.
